The actress, who has once again found herself in the middle of a raging controversy, with reports of her home being seized by the ED, visited her native place in Mangalore with her family.
There, the star was seen enjoying watching ‘
Daiva Kola
,’ a traditional performance native to the
Tulu-speaking regions
of Karnataka.
Taking to her Instagram handle, Shilpa shared her experience watching the performance and mentioned how she was getting her two children acquainted with their cultural heritage.
Shilpa watched the ‘Kodamantaya Daiva Kola’ accompanied by her children, Viaan and Samisha and later shared that the cuties were ‘awestruck’ by the performance.
Sharing the video, she wrote, “Tulunadu da Ponnu, back to my roots.
Introducing my children to my cultural heritage. Attended the Nagamandala and the traditional Kodamantaya daiva Kola in Mangalore. My kids were awestruck and no matter how many times I see it, it always fascinates me to see the power and faith followed with such devotion .”
Meanwhile, Shilpa and Raj also released a statement regarding the
ED probe
and said that they’re hoping for a ‘fair investigation’. They also said that they would follow the due process of the law and take all the steps which are necessary.
