Alyy Khan

reminisced about the incident during the filming of ‘

Don 2

‘, where Shah Rukh Khan accidentally collided his car with another stunt vehicle.
In an interview with Dawn News, Alyy reflected on the filming experience, recalling that it was a Sunday and they were shooting a

chase scene

in Berlin. Shah Rukh was positioned on the left, Alyy on the right, and

Farhan Akhtar

was concealed in the back seat to avoid appearing in the shot.

The car was equipped with HMI lights and two large cameras mounted on the bonnet, totaling €300,000 worth of equipment, which notably affected the car’s balance.

Alyy mentioned Shah Rukh’s confidence in his driving abilities and recounted that a square kilometer was cordoned off for the shoot in Berlin. The scene involved

Priyanka Chopra

driving up to their car, Shah Rukh delivering the iconic Don line – ‘Don ko pakadna mushkil hi nahi, naamumkin hai‘ – and driving off. He successfully nailed the first attempt, earning praise from Alyy. Reflecting on his own driving experiences, Alyy expressed gratitude for never having been involved in a major

They decided to give the shot another try. Priyanka pulled over, shared a glance with Shah Rukh, he delivered his line, and sped off. However, this time, a

stunt car

that was meant to reverse and brake collided with them because Shah Rukh missed the mark slightly. “As he turned left, because he was delayed by a couple of seconds, the other stunt car collided directly with us. Immediately, Shah Rukh turned to me and asked if I was alright. I assured him I was fine. Everyone gathered around, ensuring everything was alright. However, there was a loss of €300,000 due to the damaged camera equipment. It was gone in an instant.”

In a behind-the-scenes video where the crash was prominently featured, Shah Rukh confessed that the maneuver wasn’t even difficult. “Maybe I was overconfident, but I just made a mistake, and bam!” the actor admitted. “It was very embarrassing, one of the most embarrassing times I’ve had on a film shoot.”
