Alia Bhatt recently launched the teaser of her film ‘
Jigra
‘ which she has also produced. The teaser sees her going to any extent to protect her brother who is in Jail. As per reports, ‘Jigra’ is loosely inspired from Mahesh Bhatt’s film ‘Gumraah’ which starred Sanjay Dutt and Sridevi. Though, there’s no confirmation on this from the official team. But the teaser has created a huge stir on the internet and garnered a lot of love.

Soni Razdan wrote, “This is such an unusual teaser… cannot wait to see the whole film! Well done everyone.” Shraddha wrote, “Ye toh theater me bhai ke sath dekhna hai, Kya kamal ladki hai @aliabhatt, kya amazing trailer hai.”Alia reshared Shraddha’s story and responded, “Hahaha thank you my blockbuster Stree.”
‘Jigra’ starring Vedang Raina along side Alia and directed by Vasan Bala, is set to release on October 11. At the moment, Alia is shooting for YRF’s spy universe movie with Sharvari Wagh. They’ve wrapped up a schedule of the movie recently in Kashmir. After that, she’s set to begin work on Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Love And War’ alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal.
