Akasa Air launched daily direct flights between Mumbai and Kuwait City on August 23. The first flight departed from Mumbai at 7.50pm and landed in Kuwait City at 10 pm. A ceremonial lamp was lit at the Mumbai airport, and a special boarding pass was given to the first passenger of this inaugural flight.

City, the capital of Kuwait. The inaugural flight was operated on Aug 23. It departed Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport in Mumbai at 7.50 pm and arrived at Kuwait International Airport in Kuwait City at 10 pm, local time.
“In an event held at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport to flag off the maiden flight, a ceremonial lamp was lit in the presence of members of Akasa Air’s Executive Committee and a special boarding pass was presented to the first passenger on the inaugural flight,” the airline said.
