Abhishek Sharma steers past Suryakumar, Tilak & Jaiswal to become India’s No. 1 T20I batter
Abhishek Sharma hammered 279 runs at an immaculate average of 55.80 and at a strike rate of 219.69 in the T20Is against England.
After taking the roof down at the Wankhede Stadium, Abhishek Sharma has become India’s highest rated ICC T20I batter. The 24-year-old had a teeraway five-match T20I series against England and has jumped from 40th spot to the second in ICC’s latest T20I ranking. Abhishek is only behind Travis Head on the list. Head has 855 points as compared to Abhishek’s 829.
