silver medal
in the match.
A video from the event is now going viral on social media, wherein Junior Bachchan is seen showering words of encouragement and positivity on the athlete.
Draped in the Indian tricolour, Neeraj is seen walking of the stadium but he halts the minute he spots Abhishek. Abhishek is seen hugging and congratulating Neeraj for his silver win, while Neeraj acknowledges the words of enthusiasm.
Malaika Arora was also in Paris, attending the javelin throw final event. Congratulating him for the win, the actress later shared on social media, “What a proud moment for my India. N too witness it live @neeraj_chopra.”
Post the event, the Tokyo Olympics gold medallist had shared, “I haven’t achieved a 90-meter throw yet, but during the second attempt, I felt that today might be the day. I have faith in myself, and I know I’ll reach that milestone someday. Holding your flag and winning a medal for your country is an incredible feeling. Despite the injury, I am pushing myself hard. The throw was good, but I still have a lot left in me, and I need to stay fit to achieve it.”
