, Abhijeet shared how Chaand Taare, the track became popular among the masses. So much so that now, it is safe to call it an “anthem”.

Abhijeet explained that an

anthem

cannot be simply referred to as a song. He mentioned Shankar Mahadevan’s track “Sabse Aange Honge Hindustani,” saying it is not just a song but an anthem that has now become iconic.
Talking about the devotional compositions like ‘Om Jai Jagdish Hare’ and ‘Mangal Bhawan Amangal Haari,’ Abhijeet mentioned that these were initially songs but later turned into ‘arti.’ He added that these spiritual tracks have become so popular that they are now played everywhere.
The singer added that “Chaand Taare” has become like an anthem for every industrialist, politician, celebrity, and even restaurant owner aspiring for success in their lives.

The playback singer shared an anecdote about the composition of “Chaand Taare.” He expressed his disbelief at how the song came together, mentioning that Javed Akhtar wrote the lyrics. Quoting Akhtar, he added that Akhtar had said he had done his part by writing the song and it was now up to the composer to create the music.
For those unaware, singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya has not lent his voice to Shah Rukh Khan since Billu (2009). However, it’s undeniable that some of their most celebrated songs emerged from their collaboration. These include ‘Badi Mushkil Hai’ in Anjaam, ‘Zara Sa Jhoom Loon Mein in Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, ‘Main Koi Aisa Geet’ in Yes Boss, the title track in Baadshah, ‘Tumhe Jo Maine Dekha’ in Main Hoon Na, and ‘Dhoom Taana’ in Om Shanti Om.
