arranged a meeting with Preity. Initially, she was slated to work on a film directed by Shekhar Kapoor, but as the shoot for that film had not yet begun, she became available for Soldier.
Mustan remembered meeting Preity at Taurani’s office, “Us zamaane mein auditions hote nahin the (Back in the day, there were no auditions).”
He recalled how she sat down in front of them and talked non-stop for 15 minutes, not allowing them to say a word.”In those 15 minutes, usne itni badbad ki and humko ek word bolne hi nahi diya usne”, he said.
Despite this, they instantly liked her and felt she was perfect for the role due to her cheerful and authentic demeanor.
The duo further disclosed that Taurani signed her for a three films,
