It was
Raksha bandhan
on Monday and while the world celebrated it, fans also loved to see adorable pictures of all the B-town celebs with their
siblings
. One saw many actors drop photos with their brothers and sisters as they celebrated the occasion with zest.
Aamir Khan
‘s sister
Nikhat
Hegde has also shared some photos as she tied rakhi to him.
While Nikhat looked pretty in a red ethnic wear, Aamir was seen in a very casual avatar wearing a white striped kurta and his spectacles.
The ‘Ghulam’ actor also tied rakhi to his sister and fed her sweets. The internet loved to see these rare pictures and dropped hearts in the comments.
On work front, Aamir had taken a break post the release of ‘Laal Singh Chadha’ and then had begun shooting for ‘
Sitare Zameen Par
‘ a while ago. He has also wrapped up the project now. He produced ‘
Laapataa Ladies
‘ directed by Kiran Rao and recently this movie was screened at the Supreme Court. During a conversation post the screening, Aamir got emotional and revealed why he decided to back the film. “I was telling sir (CJI) that during COVID, when I was 56, I thought this is the last leg of my career, I will work for 15 years more. I can actively work till 70 and who knows after that. Whatever I have learnt… I wanted to give back because the industry, the society, the country has given me so much. I thought maybe I can do one film a year, but as a producer I can back multiple stories I feel strongly about,” said the actor.
“Through this, I will be able to give a platform to new writers, directors and everyone. Laapataa Ladies is the first step towards that, in a sense. I want to promote this kind of talent. I am hoping to produce four-five films a year, so that we get to see more such movies. That’s the effort,” he added.
