‘, where he stars alongside Pooja Hegde. A behind-the-scenes video from the set has recently surfaced online, shared by a fan page on X (formerly Twitter).
In the clip, Shahid is dressed in a white shirt and khaki trousers, and is seen leaning on a bike with a cigarette in hand.
The scene is part of a wedding sequence in the film. Shahid’s rugged look and buzz cut add to the appeal. Notably, the video also features a giant artwork of Amitabh Bachchan from his iconic film ‘Deewaar’. The caption read, “These Deva leaks are getting me pumped up [fire emojis] #ShahidKapoor Absolute MASS.” Fans couldn’t control their fervor and wrote, “Uff crazy”, “absolutely massss, Southxbolly combo bring it on babeee”
Directed by Rosshan Andrrews, known for his Malayalam hits Salute and Kayamkulam Kochunni, ‘Deva’ features Shahid Kapoor as a cop. The film is produced by Zee Studios and Roy Kapur Films.
Last month, Shahid Kapoor unveiled the official poster of ‘Deva’ on Instagram. The poster shows him holding a gun with a grim expression, standing against a dusty backdrop, with a scar visible on his muscular arm. Shahid confirmed that ‘Deva’ is set to release on February 14, 2025, with the note, “Get ready for a VIOLENT VALENTINE’S DAY. DEVA, releasing in theatres on 14th Feb 2025!”
In a previous interview with PTI, Shahid Kapoor discussed his role in ‘Deva’. He said, “It is a very challenging character for me, it’s very exciting. It has a lot of action but it has a lot of story, it has a strong sense of thrill, and what’s going to happen next. The character is very surprising. I’m excited and having a good time on the sets.”
Shahid’s most recent appearance was in ‘Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya’. He also starred in the action thriller ‘Bloody Daddy’ and Raj and DK’s crime thriller series ‘Farzi’.
