3 cops on poll duty die in crash

Three police constables were killed and 15 other cops injured when a container truck rammed into one of the three police buses parked near a roadside dhaba in Sidhwalia in Bihar‘s Gopalganj district on Sunday. “Altogether 108 policemen were on way to poll-bound Supaul from Gopalganj in three buses,” Gopalganj SP Swarn Prabhat said. Two died on the spot, while the third succumbed to his injuries at a hospital.

The injured were admitted to Khagaria Sadar Hospital.
