Sunrisers Eastern Cape are the defending champions of the SA20 2025.
The third edition of the SA20 2025 is set to conclude on February 8 (Saturday). The Sunrisers Eastern Cape will take on the MI Cape Town in the final match of the tournament. Despite just two editions of SA20 conducted so far, the tournament has garnered a lot of attention from the cricket fans, especially in India. In a spectacular display of cricketing prowess at Newlands, Sunrisers Eastern Cape clinched their consecutive SA20 titles with a resounding 89-run victory over Durban’s Super Giants. Opting to bat first after winning the toss, Sunrisers showcased a commanding performance, posting a formidable total of 204 for 3 on the scoreboard. In reply, Durban Super Giants put up a good show, but it was not enough to stop the Sunrisers Eastern Cape from winning their second SA20 title.
