London, Feb. 6: Wishing that the collection of Tagore’s letters written during the Americo-European tour to Mr. Andrews, published in Madras, will be more accessible to the British public, Manchester Guardian, in a leader, expresses the opinion that apart from the charming style, they express generous and broad humanity full of insight into the underlying difficulty of Anglo-Indian relations that they fully deserve the consideration of statesman and the educated classes. Tagore pleads for mutual Anglo-Indian understanding.
