The district administration has extended a 48-hour-period for bull tamers and bull trainers to register themselves and their cattle for participation in a bull taming event to be held at Madhakottai on February 1.
According to an official release, it has been proposed to conduct the event at Madhakottai in Nanjikottai hamlet on the outskirts of Thanjavur on Saturday. Aspiring tamers and bull trainers are directed to register their/their cattle names for participation in the event from 10 a.m. on January 29 to 10 a.m. on January 31 on the following website: https://thanjavur.nic.in/ along with necessary documents.
Admit cards for ‘eligible’ tamers and participation token for the cattle can be downloaded through the same website after processing, the release added.
