Suryakumar Yadav will lead the India Cricket Team in the upcoming IND vs ENG T20I series
India Cricket Team T20I captain Suryakumar Yadav had a grueling session in the nets on Monday at the Eden Gardens. SKY didn’t practice batting much the day prior when most of the team took their turns in the nets. It was, however, a different scene on Monday, where SKY was most active in the nets.
The Team India captain in the shortest format of the game looked jolly and was one of the first players to hit the ground. Team India had their practice session in the afternoon and SKY was the only Indian batter to have batted the most today. He along with openers Sanju Samson and Abhishek Sharma were the three batters who toiled hard in the nets.
SKY showcased his barrage of shots
Suryakumar Yadav wasted little to no time in hitting the nets early. He went on to first face the spinners and then came to the second nets to take on the pacers. SKY who is well adverse in playing both spin and pace was slow to get his thing starting. He watched a couple of deliveries, playing them with generic caution.
Within a few minutes, he found his groove and went on to hit hard at the bowlers. He faced Ravi Bishnoi, a couple of net bowlers at Eden Gardens, and was quite good at playing some forward-looking shots. However, his array of shots came next when he went on to face the pacers.
He lapped a couple of shots against a net pacer and Nitish Kumar Reddy. SKY was then in his zone as he donned the Mr 360 approach. With the pacers bowling at good pace and length, he went on to lap his trademark unorthodox shots. A couple of pull shots accompanied by lap shots and an audacious sweep shot highlighted India’s ace batting practice from the captain.
