In the matter, the police recorded the statement of Kareena Kapoor Khan on Friday, through which some shocking details have come to light.
According to Indian Express, Kareena Kapoor recounted the events of the night and revealed that the intruder was highly aggressive, engaging in a violent scuffle.
The aftermath of the same resulted in Saif being stabbed multiple times. Despite the attack, Kareena Kapoor Khan claimed that the perpetrator didn’t steal anything. He left valuable jewelry, which was kept in plain sight, untouched.
Further, during the terrifying incident, the family managed to move to safety to the 12th floor of their duplex. An incident as traumatic as this could shake anyone, and Kareena Kapoor Khan was deeply disturbed by everything happening around her. Soon her sister Karisma Kapoor came in her support. She took Kareena to her Khar residence.
Following Kareena’s statement, police made sure to beef up the security around both Saif’s house in Satguru Sharan building, Bandra, and Karisma’s Khar residence.
The police are ramping up their efforts to apprehend the assailant. The fact that the attacker did not steal anything raises questions about the motivation behind the attack, prompting authorities to explore all possible scenarios. 30 teams have been deployed in the matter.
Investigators believe the assailant may be a hardened criminal, as evidence shows he changed his clothes to avoid being recognized. Initial footage from Saif’s building revealed the intruder wearing a dark, long-sleeve T-shirt, but later footage near Lucky Junction showed him in a light blue short-sleeve shirt, indicating a calculated attempt to evade capture.
