Sangh may have opposed some of Manmohan Singh’s policies and acts, but it has always held him in high respect. In a statement, Sangh president Mohan Bhagwat said that his contributions to the nation would be remembered and treasured.
Wishing deputy the top position
NCP leader Ajit Pawar has long regretted not becoming the chief minister. He has consistently served as a deputy since 2010. So, lately, when speaking in the assembly, Maharashtra Chief Minister Fadnavis said that, although Ajit has been referred to as the permanent deputy CM by a few individuals, he wishes Ajit may become the state’s chief minister once. Whether that was a genuine wish or a taunt, laughing erupted among both the opposition and the governing benches.
