This interaction was taken out of context on Reddit, sparking rumours that Shrima doesn’t get along with Aishwarya because she rarely shares posts about the Bollywood star or her daughter Aaradhya.

Addressing the controversy, Shrima shared screenshots of a direct message from the original commenter, who apologized for the misunderstanding. The user wrote, “I’m extremely sorry, Shrima, if I have hurt you in any way. My comment was just a sudden reaction on knowing that you guys are related. But media has really added up so much masala, and my comment has been shown in the wrong way. Why would I accuse anyone of anything? It’s your life, and it’s completely up to you what to post and what not to. Many respects their privacy and keeps personal life in private. I respect and adore you a lot. You have your own identity, and I respect that. Best wishes for you always.” Shrima responded graciously, saying, “It’s not your fault.”
Shrima also issued a detailed statement to clear the air. She explained her professional journey, saying, “Before becoming a blogger, I worked in wealth management for years. I’ve also been Mrs. India Globe 2009. I have never used anyone’s name to build my career. As a woman, I take pride in my independent achievements and won’t allow anyone to undermine that.”
