Gao Chong, MCGG Producer at MOONTON Games, said: “Magic Chess was introduced in 2020 as a game mode within MLBB that has since grown to the point that many are playing it as their main game mode. Given its popularity, we made the decision to launch MLBB’s most popular arcade mode as a standalone mobile application. This will provide several key benefits – more content for our players, an improved user experience, and most importantly, the ability to create professional esports events. We are eagerly awaiting the game’s launch and hope you will enjoy the fruits of our labour!”

Magic Chess: Go Go – The Ultimate MLBB Multiplayer Strategy Game
MCGG is a casual free-to-play mobile game that caters to fans of auto-chess and strategy. Unlike in MLBB, where players will control a single hero in combat, MCGG players will assume the role of the ultimate strategist, commanding familiar MLBB Heroes – such as Layla, Nana, and Chou – to create their champion legion. Players will need all of their wits to strategically deploy their forces and devise winning strategies to conquer the Chessboard.
Each Chessboard will see eight players simultaneously engage in Player versus Player (PvP) combat. Each player will compete individually, testing their strategies and tactics through multiple rounds to become the last strategist standing.
Each Commander possesses powerful unique skills, offering players distinct battle experiences. Personalised skill choices also provide players with richer tactical options. Unlocking each Hero’s strongest combo will be key to victory on the Chessboard.
Heroes hail from various city-states from the Land of Dawn, including the Moniyan Empire, Northern Vale, and The Barren Lands. Deploying a certain number of Heroes from the same city-state will grant players powerful Synergy buffs, with each buff unique to that city-state.
At certain stages of each match, players will get to choose from various powerful Go Go Cards with different effects. When ahead, players can use these cards to launch an all-out attack to extend their lead. When behind, they can opt to reverse the situation for a comeback. With luck on their side, players will draw and choose the most suitable Go Go Cards, helping them claim final victory on the Chessboard.
Easy Migration from Magic Chess to MCGG
Magic Chess players will carry over their inventories and progress to MCGG once they bind their accounts. The migration will encompass all their assets owned, including Heroes, skins, battle effects, and resources. All owned Magic Chess resources that will be available in MCGG will be returned, while resources that will not be available will be converted into items that can be used to exchange for the resources as soon as they are available, or for other resources.
