The five-match Border-Gavaskar Trophy is all set to commence from November 22, with Perth set to host IND vs AUS 1st Test.
Nathan Lyon eager to end Australia’s decade long wait to win BGT
Speaking to Fox Cricket, Nathan Lyon admitted that India had the upper hand against Australia over the last decade. He backed the Australian team to come out on top against a “world-class” India. However, the spinner said that India knew how to prepare well for the series, adding that the IND vs AUS Test series was going to be a cracker of a contest.
“It’s been a long ten years since Australia’s held the trophy. There’s only a few of us that would probably be in the squad that’s actually held the trophy, so it’s time to bring it home,” Lyon said.
