Salman Khan and Chunky Panday’s friendship dates back to the ‘90s. In a past interview with Lehren, Chunky recalled a time when he was shooting in South Africa with Salman. He shared that a shopkeeper had given him $50,000 to bring Salman Khan to his shop.
Sharing the memories, Chunky Panday shared a funny memory when he asked Salman Khan to go shopping, promising him free jeans. When they arrived at the mall, Salman got the jeans and shoes for free. It was only later that Salman discovered how Chunky had initially charged the shopkeeper for his appearance.

In the same interview, Panday clarified the backstory, explaining that the shopkeeper did indeed pay him $50,000, but it was for the show sponsorship. “He was the sponsor, and the deal was to get Salman to the store,” he revealed.
On the work front, Chunky is currently enjoying the success of his recently released Netflix film, Vijay 69, and is also looking forward to Housefull 5 alongside Akshay Kumar. Meanwhile, Salman Khan is busy with his highly anticipated film Sikandar, directed by AR Murugadoss, which also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Prateik Babbar, Sathyaraj, and Sharman Joshi in key roles.
