ONGC Q2 net up 17% at Rs 12,000 crore on lower tax

ONGC reported a rise in Q2 profit helped by a decline in tax expenses due to the scrapping of the levy on petroleum crude. The state-owned firm’s standalone profit jumped 17% to Rs 11,984 crore in the Sept quarter.
