Ajay Devgn is getting a lot of love as he’s back in one of his most popular characters, ‘Singham’, in ‘Singham Again’ which released on Diwali. While Ajay is quite popular for his characters on-screen, he’s also popular for many things off-screen. For instance, his brand endorsements, especially ‘Zubaan Kesri’ ads which have now become a part of the meme culture. This happened after Ajay started endorsing a mouth-freshener brand.
The ‘Drishyam’ actor has finally broken silence on these memes. On Ranveer Allahbadia’s podcast, the host told Ajay, “If you don’t mind me asking, in this meme culture, if someone is saying, ‘Zubaan Kesari,’ how do you does your brain process it?” Reacting to it, he said with a huge smile, “It’s okay. It doesn’t matter.”
Rohit Shetty was also present with Ajay on this podcast. He added, “I think it is done being offensive. Everyone enjoys memes now. It’s now about laughing and saying, ‘Arre, did you see this meme?'”
Ajay and Rohit have been friends for many years now and they also enjoy a great actor-director relationship with collaborations like three parts of ‘Singham’, ‘Golmaal’, ‘Bol Bachchan’ and more.
The duo have confirmed many more collaborations post ‘Singham Again’ and they’re soon going to begin the next installment of ‘Golmaal’ soon. Meanwhile, ‘Singham Again’ has now crossed Rs 200 crore at the box office in India in the span of around 10 days. The film had clashed with ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ which is giving it a tough competition and the numbers are neck-to-neck.
