Mumbai cops have nabbed a 56-year-old man from Bandra who issued a
death threat
to Salman Khan and
Zeeshan Siddique
, boldly demanding a hefty Rs 2 crore from the stars.
As per a PTI report,
Azam Mohammed Mustafa
, the man behind the death threat to Salman Khan and Zeeshan Siddique, sent a chilling message via Mumbai traffic police’s WhatsApp helpline. He warned not to dismiss his demand for Rs 2 crore, threatening that failure to comply would lead to a fate similar to
Baba Siddique
, who was tragically shot by three gunmen in Bandra on October 12.
Earlier today, Wednesday, police arrested Mustafa, a resident of Blue Fame Apartment in Bandra (West)—a high-profile area where Tiger 3 star Salman Khan and many other B-town celebrities live. Authorities recovered the mobile phone and SIM card used in the crime from the accused.
In his message to Mumbai Traffic Control, the culprit threatened to kill actor Salman Khan and Maharashtra NCP leader Zeeshan Siddique if they didn’t pay a Rs 2 crore ransom. Following the threat, Worli police swiftly filed a case and launched an investigation.
Earlier this month, police arrested a man from Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, linked to a threat sent to Mumbai traffic police’s WhatsApp helpline, demanding Rs 5 crore from Salman Khan. Claiming ties to Lawrence Bishnoi‘s gang, he threatened the Dabangg actor to settle tensions. Though he later apologized, saying the message was sent by mistake, he was still taken to Mumbai for questioning.
Additionally, a man named Mohammed Tayyab, also known as Gurfan Khan, was arrested from Noida Sector 39, Uttar Pradesh, for allegedly threatening Salman Khan and Zeeshan Siddique. In a call to Zeeshan’s PR office in Bandra East last Friday, he demanded ransom and issued threats against both individuals.
