Farmer leader
Rakesh Tikait
has recently made headlines by advising Bollywood superstar Salman Khan to seek forgiveness from the
Bishnoi community
amidst ongoing tensions surrounding the infamous blackbuck poaching case. This advice comes in light of escalating threats from Lawrence Bishnoi, a gangster who has openly declared animosity towards Salman.
Rakesh Tikait, representing the farmers’ union, has entered the fray, emphasizing the need for reconciliation. In a viral video, Tikait stated, “देखो वो एक समाज से जुड़ा हुआ मामला है, अगर समाज से जुड़ा हुआ मामला है तो उनको माफी मांग लेनी चाहिए” (Look, this is a matter connected to society; if it is connected to society, then he should seek forgiveness). He urged Khan to visit any temple associated with the
Bishnoi
community and publicly apologize for his past mistakes. Tikait believes that such an act would restore respect for both Salman and the community.
Tikait’s comments reflect a broader concern about the potential consequences of ignoring these social dynamics. He warned, “बदमा श आदमी है पता नहीं टपकवा दे” (He (Lawrence Bishnoi) is a bad man; you never know when he might do something to harm. Tikait suggested that seeking forgiveness could mitigate any further escalation and protect Khan from possible retaliation.
The farmer leader emphasized that acknowledging one’s mistakes is crucial for maintaining societal harmony. He remarked that if Khan were to apologize sincerely, it would not only benefit him but also uphold the dignity of the Bishnoi community. “अगर सलमान खान माफी नहीं मांगेंगे तो जेल में बंद कोई व्यक्ति कब क्या कर दे, कहा नहीं जा सकता है” (If Salman Khan does not apologize, it cannot be said what a person in jail might do).
The conflict between Salman Khan and Lawrence Bishnoi intensified following the recent murder of
Baba Siddiqui
, a close associate of Khan, which the Bishnoi gang claimed responsibility for. This incident has reignited public interest and concern regarding the Bollywood star’s safety and his past actions.
