Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana
is a unique scheme launched by the
Maharashtra government
to provide financial support to women across the state.
As a Diwali Bonus, the state government intends to release the October and November installments of the Ladki Bahin Yojana in advance, according to an ET report.
More than 94,000 women beneficiaries in Maharashtra have already received the advanced payment in their bank accounts. The Diwali bonus initiative aims to provide financial support to women, allowing them to make purchases during the Diwali festival without financial constraints.
Under the Ladki Bahin Yojana 4th and 5th Installment, the Maharashtra government plans to release the installments ahead of schedule.
Eligible women will receive Rs 3000 in October instead of the usual Rs 1500, enabling them to do additional shopping for the upcoming Diwali celebrations.
The Diwali Bonus will be directly credited to the bank accounts of all eligible women who have registered under the Ladki Bahin Yojana and have already received previous installments.
Mazi Ladki Bahin Scheme Eligibility & Documents
To be eligible for the Mazi Ladki Bahin Scheme, the applicant must be a woman who is a permanent resident of Maharashtra state, aged between 21 to 65 years. All Married, Unmarried, abandoned, divorced and destitute women are eligible. The applicant’s family income should not exceed Rs 2.5 lakh per annum, and she must have a bank account in her name.
When applying for the scheme, the applicant must provide various documents, including Aadhaar Card, Identity Card or Certificate, Bank Account, Caste Certificate, Residence Certificate, Age Proof, Ration Card, Passport Size Photograph, Income Proof [Yellow and orange ration card holders no need of income proof], Domicile certificate, Birth Certificate, and Voter ID.
The Maharashtra government has extended the deadline for submitting applications for the Ladli Behna Yojana to October 15. This extension allows women who have not yet applied for the scheme to submit their applications within the new timeframe.
