In an old interview, Shah Rukh shared the story behind the unique name of his youngest son, Abram. During his appearance on Aap Ki Adalat with Rajat Sharma, Shah Rukh Khan was asked by a fan about the reason behind naming his youngest son
AbRam
and its meaning.
Khan explained that Hazrat Ibrahim in Islam is known as Abraham in the Bible, and in Judaism, it’s Abram.
The actor shared that, since his wife Gauri is Hindu and he is Muslim, they wanted their children to grow up with a sense of secularism at home. Although the name sparked some controversy, Khan emphasized that their household reflects the same secular values as their country.
On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan is gearing up for his next film, reportedly titled ‘
King
.’ Recently, a leading portal reported that SRK, Siddharth, and Sujoy have roped in Abhishek Bachchan to play the antagonist in the film.
It has been reported that with the script finalized and shooting locations selected both in India and abroad, the production team is now focused on finalizing the ensemble cast to join Shah Rukh Khan, Suhana Khan, and Abhishek Bachchan. The aim is to begin filming by November 2024.
‘King’ will reportedly be directed by Sujoy Ghosh, known for his hit thrillers like ‘Kahaani’, ‘Badla’ and ‘Jaane Jaan’. Although Suhana Khan made her Bollywood debut with Zoya Akhtar’s Archies’, ‘King’ will mark her debut on the big screen.
