In a shocking incident, Malaika Arora’s father, Anil Mehta, passed away on September 11. Malaika, who was in Pune at the time, promptly returned to Mumbai to support her mother during this difficult period.
Many celebrities, including Gauri Khan and Bhavana Pandey, have visited to extend their condolences and offer support to Malaika.
In a video doing rounds on social media, Gauri and Bhavana were seen visiting Malaika and her family to offer their support after the passing of her father, Anil Mehta.
Both Gauri, the wife of Shah Rukh Khan, and Bhavana, wife of Chunky Panday and mother of Ananya Panday, are close friends of Malaika.
After attending the cremation, Malaika’s BFF Kareena Kapoor Khan also paid a visit to her home. Additionally, Sonali Bendre and Shilpa Shetty Kundra also stopped by to offer their condolences and support during this difficult time.
On September 12, Anil Mehta’s final rites were held at Santacruz Hindu Crematorium in Mumbai at 11 a.m. The ceremony was attended by numerous celebrities, including Kareena Kapoor Khan with Saif Ali Khan and Karisma Kapoor, Arbaaz Khan with his wife, Sushmita Khan, along with Shibani Akhtar, Farah Khan, Sajid Khan, and others, who came to pay their respects.
