He stressed on developing a dashboard where information related to research and development happening in the country could be easily monitored.
A statement issued by PM Modi said tha the meet drew attention towards discussions about India’s science and technology landscape and resdesigning of research and development programmes.
A new beginning had been made with the first meeting of the governing body of Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF), said PM Modi during the meeting.
He stressed on the need to identify and remove obstacles in the country’s research ecosystem.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasized the importance of localizing solutions to global problems, according to an official statement. Speaking on the matter, he stressed that while problems may have a global scope, solutions must be tailored to meet Indian needs.
The prime minister discussed the necessity of upgrading and standardizing institutions. He proposed preparing a list of domain experts based on their specific expertise to aid this process.
He also underlined the importance of scientific monitoring in the use of resources for research and innovation. Highlighting the significance of these efforts, he assured the scientific community, “This is an ambitious beginning… There would be no dearth of resources for their endeavours.”
Furthermore, he talked about the positive impact of Atal Tinkering Labs. He suggested that these labs could be graded to ensure their effectiveness and quality.
The prime minister’s statements aim to bolster confidence within the scientific community and ensure that innovations are aligned with national interests.
