India’s Medal Tally at Paris Paralympics 2024: Across the 17 editions of the Summer Paralympic Games, India have won a total of 35 medals, including four in the ongoing Paris Games so far.

On August 30, Avani Lekhara became the first Indian to win two gold medals in Games history as she emerged champion in Women’s 10m Air Rifle Standing. It was the same event in which Lekhara had won at the Tokyo Games.

But she wasn’t the only Indian to stand on the podium in the event. In her debut Games, Mona Agarwal bagged a bronze medal in the same event.

Preethi Pal also finished third and bagged a bronze in Women’s 100m T35 event.

The fourth medal was won by Manish Narwal in the Men’s 10m Air Pistol event – a silver. This, to follow his gold at the Tokyo Games three years ago.
