The members of the Nepal cricket team have jetted off for Bengaluru where they will take place in a two-week long training camp at the NCA
The Nepal cricket team will visit India for two weeks to participate in a training camp at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru. This is the second time in the year that Nepal have visited India. Earlier, the team participated in few matches against Baroda while they trained in Gujarat in preparation for the World Cup.
The motive of the training camp in Bengaluru is for Nepal to prepare for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup league 2.
In March, the BCCI organised the Friendship Cup – a tri-series that saw Nepal playing against Gujarat and Baroda. The matches saw Nepal faceoff against both teams twice in the group stage of the tournament. The camp in Bengaluru is yet another gesture of support to the associate nations by the BCCI. Earlier this month, it came to light that Afghanistan will play a one-off Test in India, another act of support from the BCCI.
