Pakistan cricket team Test skipper Shan Masood wants the team to show intent and positivity in each match in order to secure victories and make it to the World Test Championship (WTC) final. Masood and co. will resume the red-ball calendar by facing off against Bangladesh in a two-match series from August 21.
‘Intent and positivity’
Speaking to reporters ahead of PAK vs BAN series, Shan Masood admitted that Pakistan needed to win a significant number of matches out of the 9 games left for the side before the WTC final. The Pakistan captain admitted that it was a relief for the team to be playing at home and in familiar conditions.
“There’s a lot to play for in the World Test Championship. The top two places are yet to be decided, and it can still go with any side. If we need to compete in World Test Championship, we need to secure victories, which requires showing intent and positivity in every aspect of the game,” Masood said.
