Imran Khan

started his acting career by playing a young

Aamir Khan

in the films Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak and Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar, directed by Mansoor Khan. He later made his debut as a lead actor opposite Genelia D’Souza in the film Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na.
In 2011, Abhinay Deo’s adult comedy film

Delhi Belly

attained cult status, featuring Imran Khan,

Kunaal Roy Kapur

, and

Vir Das

in the lead roles.

Over a decade later, costume designer

Niharika Bhasin

revealed the extraordinary lengths Imran Khan went to for his character in the film.
Bhasin, who worked on Delhi Belly, disclosed that Imran had to wear unwashed, foul-smelling shirts for his role in the fast-paced, three-day shoot. The characters were constantly running through the streets of Delhi, getting cement on their clothes and becoming slimy in the summer heat. “There are things I had done with the clothes, so I couldn’t wash them. So, every day he would be like, ‘Can someone please perfume the shirt for me please?’ It was horrible, but he did it and I really love him for it,” Bhasin had revealed on an episode of Crew Cut.
Imran Khan, who last appeared on the silver screen in the 2015 film Katti Batti, has been on a hiatus from acting. However, he has now resurfaced on social media and has admitted that he is actively looking for a comeback project.
