Delhi received a fresh spell of rain on Saturday after recording 228 mm of rain in 24 hours on Friday. (PTI)

According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), this is the first time since 1936 that Delhi has recorded such high rainfall in a day.(PTI)

The IMD has predicted fairly widespread to widespread light to moderate rainfall accompanied with thunderstorm, lightning to be very likely over Haryana-Chandigarh-Delhi during next five days. Isolated to very heavy rainfall is also likely in the region between June 29 to July 1. (PTI)
