India Predicted XI vs Australia: Rohit Sharma & co to stick with same team after perfect show against BAN

India cricket team will lock horns with Australia as they aim to get one step closer to the T20 World Cup. The ODI World Cup finalists will once again take on each other in yet another crucial tie, this time in the Super 8 stage in St. Lucia. After putting up a dominating and all-round performance against Bangladesh while Australia are coming off a huge upset against Afghanistan in their previous fixture.

What will India’s playing XI be vs Australia?

Rohit Sharma and co. nearly ticked all the boxes in the game against BAN, with both batters and bowlers stepping up when it needed the most. They are likely to go with an unchanged XI in the contest against Australia.

India’s openers – Rohit and Virat Kohli – went all guns blazing as they provided a flying start to the side. Despite a poor run for the veteran duo, all eyes will be on the pair to step up on the big stage when the team needs them the most. Suryakumar Yadav, who saw a failure against Bangladesh, will hope to put the demons of 2023 behind when he steps into the middle on Monday.

Shivam Dube also seems to have found his touch after witnessing failures in the Group stage and in the first Super 8 game. All-rounder Hardik Pandya’s brilliance with the bat after an impressive season with the ball is an additional boost for a powerful team India.
