North India’s largest scholars’ conclave concludes at IIM Kashipur

), North India’s largest scholars’ conclave, concluded at Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kashipur on Sunday. The event culminated with the announcement of awards.
Shreya Srivastava from Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology Allahabad won the best research paper award for her work on ‘Artificial Intelligence: From Activation to Assimilation’.

Mohd Mujahid Khan from IIT Kanpur came second for his study titled ‘From Abundance to Scarcity: An Experimental Study of Financially Constrained Newsvendor’. Virender Kumar from Delhi Technological University secured the third award for his research on ‘Domestic Monetary Policy and Non-Resident Indian (NRI) Deposits to India’.

, said, “Selecting the best papers was an arduous task given the high quality of submissions. I congratulate winners for their outstanding research.”
The conclave featured sessions by esteemed academics and industry experts who spoke on the critical role of research in the evolving management industry.

Sabyasachi Patra, chairperson of the doctoral programme and MERC Convener, said there was a 400% increase in submissions compared to last year. “MERC provides a platform for challenging theories, debating methodologies, and fostering new ideas,” he said. Around 720 research papers were submitted, with 50% by women. After a rigorous scrutiny, 300 papers were shortlisted for the final round.
