Family vacation after voting
It has been an eventful year for former Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu. Now that the busy campaign for assembly and parliamentary elections and voting has come to a conclusion, Naidu is getting ready to embark on a trip to Europe with his entire family.
Not on stage, not in party
In Maharashtra politics, leaders quitting their party and joining others giving all kinds of reasons is not new. However, one given by an office bearer of the Shiv Sena takes the cake. Arvind More, who heads the party unit in Kalyan-Murbad assembly, was upset that he was not deemed to be senior enough to sit on the stage when PM Modi addressed a rally in Kalyan for Shrikant Shinde, son of CM Eknath Shinde.
Time to resume work at party
After contesting as independent against INDIA bloc candidate from Purnia, Pappu Yadav, who joined Congress before election, is now trying to win the confidence of Congress leadership. Yadav is campaigning for Congress in none other than Amethi and Rae Bareli, the two high profile seats of UP. Yadav is claiming that he never left Congress and contested as Independent against RJD candidate and not Congress.
