Despite her financial stability, her extended family didn’t visit her during her struggle. This experience prompted her to seek therapy, which she found to be immensely helpful.
During her conversation with NDTV, Manisha Koirala shared how her cancer journey reshaped her relationships with friends and family. Initially believing she had many friends who would support her, she discovered that people tend to avoid pain, including their own. Feeling lonely, she realized that only her immediate family remained by her side, emphasizing the importance of familial support during challenging times.
Manisha really trusts her close family. She mentioned how, despite being part of a big and wealthy family, it was only her parents, brother, and her sister-in-law, who stuck by her when things got tough. This taught her that they are the ones she can always rely on, no matter what. For Manisha, her family always comes first, above anyone else.
