Kolkata: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said on Sunday Prime Minister Narendra Modi stayed in Raj Bhawan last night and he should have asked Bengal Governor CV Ananda Bose to resign from his post but he didn’t utter a single word, amid allegations against Bose over molestation.

“The Prime Minister comes to Bengal and stays in Raj Bhavan. The PM should have asked him (Governor) to resign from his post but he didn’t utter a single word,” Banerjee said on Sunday during a public rally in North 24 Parganas Amdanga.

“There is a Constitutional crisis. No women is ready to enter Raj Bhawan after some shameful deeds recently came to light,” Banerjee said while speaking at an election rally on Sunday. “PM should have asked him to resign from his post but he didn’t utter a single word.”

Demanding the resignation of West Bengal governor CV Ananda Bose, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said on Saturday that she would never go to the Raj Bhawan or sit next to Bose as she felt “sitting beside him is a sin”.

Banerjee’s statement comes in the backdrop of an allegation of molestation levelled against him by a female employee of the Raj Bhawan.

Meanwhile, Banerjee today also asked Modi to pack his bags and get ready to leave as he will go from power.

Banerjee slammed Prime Minister over Sandeshkhali, saying, “You are still telling lies about Sandeshkhali. What is the Sandesh? Modi is going away from power, Modi will go away from the country.”

“What work has been done by Bengal, and you are saying no development has been done in Bengal….You are calling people thief? When the country is transformed into jail, this happens. Modi has sold the country,” she said

She warned people and said she will not allow CAA to be implemented in Bengal.

She criticized Modi over non-disbursal of 100days fund and Prime Minister giving adversitisements in Television and social media. “They have not given money for 100days work…n Yourtube, television and every media–only Modi’s campaign is running. Even cannot open social media.”
