Bobby Deol
remembered his on-screen character Abrar Haque from ‘Animal’ and shared insights into real-life power dynamics. He emphasised that despite his character’s fearlessness and strength on screen, in reality, he recognises his elder brother
Sunny Deol
as the ultimate powerhouse.
During a recent episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show, Bobby Deol reminisced about Sunny Deol’s remarkable strength in the presence of his elder brother.
Bobby told
Kapil Sharma
, “If there’s anyone in real life who embodies true strength like Superman, it’s bhaiya (Sunny). I’ve never encountered anyone with a level of strength comparable to his. Despite undergoing numerous back surgeries, when he needs to lift someone on set, he does so effortlessly. It’s as if they weigh nothing at all.”
“A few days ago, when I went downstairs (at home) to take a walk, I noticed that the window of bhaiya’s car was cracked. I asked the others, ‘How did it happen? Did a coconut fall on it?’ They said, ‘No. Sunny sahab got angry and he thumped it, causing it to crack.’ It’s a fact,” Bobby said.
When
Archana Puran Singh
inquired whether Sunny ever lashed out at him in anger, Bobby responded, “No… Just his gaze is enough to intimidate me.” Further probing, Archana asked if their father,
Dharmendra
, had ever disciplined him physically. Bobby replied, “Papa never laid a hand on me. Even his gaze held immense power. It felt like his hand weighed 20 kilos.”
Sunny’s last film outing was in ‘Gadar 2’, while Bobby’s most recent appearance was in ‘Animal’. Their upcoming projects include the Hindi film ‘Baap’ for Sunny and the Tamil film ‘Kanguva’ for Bobby.
