Candidates
This year from the Surguja constituency, Chintamani Maharaj (BJP) and Shashi Singh (Congress candidate) are standing against each other.

Gondwana Gantantra Party (GGP) also released its list and gave a ticket to Dr LS Uday.
Lok Sabha 2019 election result

In 2019, Surguja constituency in India witnessed 1,655,239 electors and 1,280,689 valid votes. Bharatiya Janata Party’s Renuka Singh Saruta secured victory with 663,711 votes, defeating Indian National Congress’ Khel Sai Singh by 157,873 votes. In 2014, with 1,523,022 electors and 1,187,321 valid votes, BJP’s Kamalbhan Singh Marabi emerged victorious with 585,336 votes, surpassing Indian National Congress’ Ram Dev Ram by 147,236 votes.
