Kohli has smartly invested in startups like Rage Coffee, fitness centre Chisel, menswear brand WROGN, and the vegan meat brand Blue Tribe, often alongside his wife, Anushka Sharma. However, Kohli revealed that he wouldn’t have been nearly as good in the business as he is in cricket.

In a recent event hosted by his IPL team, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), Virat Kohli shared what he would have done if cricket hadn’t been his career path. He mentioned he would’ve ventured into business but admitted that he might have struggled without cricket as a backbone.
“If it was not cricket, then I would have gone into business, but if I had pursued business instead of cricket, I’m 200% sure I would have been fooled by people in the business world. Now I’m a bit better at business after getting beaten and betrayed in this field,” Kohli said candidly.
His words resonate with many young entrepreneurs who often face similar challenges when starting out in business. However, Kohli isn’t the only Indian cricketer to venture into business. Several members of Team India have explored business opportunities, using their fame and financial acumen to make strategic investments.
