MUMBAI: NSE, the
largest stock exchange
in India in terms of turnover, on Friday said it earned a consolidated
net profit
of Rs 2,488 crore during the quarter ended March 2024 — up 20% from a year ago period. Its net
profit margin
was a staggering 49%.
NSE also reported a consolidated revenue of Rs 4,625 crore for Q4 FY24, up 34%. Apart from
trading revenue
, its revenue from operations was also supported by other inflows including data centre & connectivity charges, and clearing, listing, index and data services, NSE said in a release.
The bourse also announced a 4:1 bonus.
