Bangladesh speedster Mustafizur Rahman was presented a special signed jersey by Mahendra Singh Dhoni as he leaves the Chennai Super kings to join his national team for the upcoming series against Zimbabwe.
Rahman, who has taken 14 wickets in 9 matches he has played in this season of the Indian Premier League, posted a thank you note to the former CSK skipper.
“Thanks for everything Mahi bhai. It was a special feeling to share the same dressing room with a legend like you. Thanks for keeping faith in me everytime. Appreciating your valuable tips, I will remember those things. Looking forward to meeting and playing with you again soon,” he posted on his social media handles.

Last month, the pacer had returned to Bangladesh briefly to complete his visa process for the T20 World Cup in the USA and Caribbean.
The T20 World Cup begins on June 1 and Bangladesh open their campaign against Sri Lanka in Dallas on June 7. They play South Africa in New York on June 10 before moving to the Caribbean for their remaining two group games against Netherlands and Nepal.
Chennai, who are 5th in the points table after their recent loss to the Punjab Kings, will definitely miss their most potent bowling weapon who currently sits at 3rd in the Purple Cap table.
In their last match, a 64-run partnership between Jonny Bairstow and Rilee Rossouw for the second wicket laid the foundation for Punjab Kings’ seven-wicket win over Chennai Super Kings on Wednesday.
Bairstow struck a 30-ball 46 and Rossouw hit 43 off 23 deliveries, following which Shashank Singh (25 not out) and Sam Curran (26 not out) were involved in an unbroken 50-run stand, which took the team past CSK’s total of 162/7 with 13 balls to spare.
Earlier, Ruturaj Gaikwad was the only CSK batter who remained rock solid, scoring a 48-ball 62 as some incisive spin bowling by the PBKS spin duo of Harpreet Brar (2/17) and Rahul Chahar (2/16) restricted the five-time champions a below-par total.
