While talking to ETimes, Jyotika revealed if it was lack of good scripts which made her stay away from Hindi movies.

– most of their films are reference points for all the actresses. I think one of my favourites of Tabu ma’am is ‘Chandni Bar’. There is no dearth in that. It was a misconception I think between both worlds where I drifted to the South and they thought I’m a South-Indian and I don’t know Hindi. Or I got too busy there. I was meant to go there, meet the right man, marry him, do the right films. Today, that has got me here and now I’m doing some great work here. But I think Hindi cinema has always made good films.”

‘Srikanth Bolla’ is based on the journey of a visually-challenged Indian industrialist and the founder of Bollant Industries.
