RAIPUR: “Till the time the Parliament has even one BJP MP on floor, we will not remove

reservation

of ST, SC, OBCs nor will we allow

Congress

party to do that. They only spread lies,” said Union home minister

Amit Shah

at an

rally in Korba constituency in Chhattisgarh on Wednesday. Shah was campaigning for BJP candidate from Korba seat Saroj Pandey.
Continuing his attacks on Congress over the issue of reservation, Shah addressing a public meeting in Katghora in Korba district alleged that the Congress has a formula to speak lies loudly, publicly and repetitively and as Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji wins third term, he will scrap reservation.

“They circulated my fake video. We have been in power for ten years, Modi ji didn’t remove reservation, nor will he do. In ten years, Modi ji used the time in scrapping Article 370 in Kashmir, triple talaq, Ram temple idol consecration and introduced citizenship amendment Act,” Shah said adding that it surprised him Congress’ Sonia Gandhi, Rahul, Priyanka and Kharge rejected the invite to attend consecration ceremony at Ram temple in Ayodhya.
He said that Congress feared of minority and vote bank which is why they didn’t attend the historic event that happened after 500 years of waiting. “When they come here, ask them how can they seek votes when they didn’t attend the event in temple,” said Shah.

When Modi ji said about scrapping Article 370, Rahul Baba said that the decision will lead to rivers of blood flowing in Kashmir, but let me tell you, in past five years, not a single pebble was burnt, Shah said adding that Modi ji eradicated terrorism from the country.
Accusing the former chief minister Bhupesh Baghel of encouraging

Naxalism

in Chhattisgarh, Shah said that Congress has nurtured terrorism and Naxalism to win elections.

“Bhupesh Kakka govt encouraged Naxalism but as BJP came to power under the leadership of chief minister Vishnu Deo Sai and deputy CM Vijay Sharma, 95 Naxalites have been killed in four months and 350 have been arrested or have surrendered. Modi ji has eliminated Naxalism from Jharkhand, Bihar, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra in five years but Chhattisgarh lagged behind as Bhupesh govt was in power here,” Shah said.
He said that our security forces have killed 29 Naxalites recently, and another ten yesterday. But Bhupesh Kakka calls it a fake encounter even when Naxalites have accepted that they suffered loss.
Shah said when Modi ji becomes the PM for third term, it will be the time for Naxalism to be eliminated within two years in Chhattisgarh.
Shah claimed that the two phases of elections are over “and if people want to know the result then let me tell you, Modi ji has hit a century and in the third term, he would cross 400. Modi ji in past ten years has given residence to poor, gas cylinders, Rs 5 lakh health insurance, free ration and toilets, free Covid 19 vaccination. Rahul Baba then objected and asked people not to get vaccination but then he himself went with his sister on a night to get vaccinated. Politics in pandemic too? Shah remarked.
“Congress people don’t feel ashamed. I want to ask Kharge ji, why does he lie for a family? You should realize that once Congress faces defeat on June 4 in elections, the brother-sister duo will go safe but 80-year-old Kharge ji will be the one to be blamed. I advise Kharge ji to not speak lies for a family and speak the truth,” Shah said.
Modi ji’s guarantee is to make Chhattisgarh Naxal-free, make a ‘viksit Bharat’, protect the PVTGs and make this state number one, he added.
