Just a few days back it was reported that designers of Heeramandi, Rimple and Harpreet have been roped in for the costumes for the film.
And now ETimes has exclusive news about the brains behind the armory and weapons design for the film. In the tale of Ramayan, there are many action sequences and they play an important role in taking the story ahead, be it of Lord Ram breaking Lord Shiva’s bow to the final battle between Lord Ram and Raavan. A source exclusively revealed to ETimes that director Nitesh Tiwari has roped in Gagan Agarwal to not only design the maces, bows arrows, swords and spears for the film but also the battle gear for the army and also the battle look for Raavan and his generals.
Gagan Agarwal has been part of Bollywood movies for a very long time and has worked on the war weapons and battle looks of films like Tanhaji – The Unsung Hero, Padmaavat and
Samrat Prithviraj
. In fact, Agarwal had also teamed up with
Ridley Scott
for
Gladiator 2
and designed the props for the battle and fight sequences featuring Denzil Washington and Pedro Pascal.
