I remember that there were very few people in the end that made baba laugh like Homi and I guess that is the greatest gift of all, laughter.”

Babil also posted pictures of Irrfan and penned a message about the lessons he learned from his father about the importance of laughter. He wrote, “Something more about laughter that he taught me: Laughter is precisely the soul of all existence, the instant you lose your ability to laugh or are unable to find a pathway to bring the joy of laughter to your flow of life, you then suddenly have become ‘serious’ and by serious what I mean to say is that you have perchance in that moment have started to take yourself seriously. Your job is not to succeed, but to live, whatever the wind brings to you. So stop trying to achieve and start trying to celebrate the joy of what you love doing.”

Babil shared some pictures of the late actor on social media along with a message on the occasion of his death anniversary. In the note, he vowed to remain resilient, inspired by his father’s teachings to be strong, compassionate, and to always hold onto hope while standing up for others.
