Uber Cup 2024, India vs China, Group A Live Score and Updates:  It doesn’t get tougher than this as a young Indian women’s squad takes on powerhouses China in a Group A clash at the Uber Cup Finals in Chengdu on Tuesday. Both India and China have qualified for finals after defeating Canada and Singapore in their last two matches and this tie will determine group toppers.

India will be without their most experienced player as Ashmita Chaliha has not been named in the lineup to take on Chen Yu Fei in the first singles tie. Isharani Baruah, Anmol Kharb and 15-year-old Tanvi Sharma will take on some of the best players in the world in what will be massive tests.

With or without PV Sindhu, Indian women’s badminton continues its audacious run at international team events. This time around, a squad with an average age of just above 20, without the top stars, has secured quarterfinal qualification at the Uber Cup.

As has been the trend since February, young Anmol Kharb put the calm, finishing touches to a 4-1 win over Singapore, after she beat World No 207 Lee Xin Yi Megan.
