IPL Points Table 2024, Team Rankings: Chennai Super Kings defeated the Sunrisers Hyderabad on Sunday which resulted in CSK going to 3rd and SRH dropping to 4th.
Due to CSK’s win, Lucknow Super Giants slid down to 5th while Delhi Capitals also went one position down to 6th. Meanwhile, Mumbai Indians remained 9th after Saturday’s defeat against the Capitals.
Rajasthan Royals and Kolkata Knight Riders lead the charts in the first and second position respectively while Royal Challengers Bengaluru are at the bottom of the 10-team points table with six points. Punjab and Gujarat are in the 7th and 8th position after their respective matches.

The playoff scenario
RR, KKR, CSK and SEH are the four sides that are currently in the top four. The top four teams will qualify for the IPL 2024 playoffs. The top two teams will play in the first Qualifier with the winner going straight into the final. The Eliminator will be played between the teams who are placed third and fourth in the IPL 2024 standings. The winner of the Eliminator will lock horns against the losing team of Qualifier 1. The winner of the Qualifier 2 will enter the final, which will be held at May 26.
